With a background in youth leadership development, Shadia deeply aligns with the organizational values of AHSHAY. She shares a belief in the power of young people and a commitment to the transformative potential of collective liberation. Shadia firmly believes that young people, when provided with adequate support, resources, dignity, and autonomy, possess the power to envision and create a liberatory world for all. Shadia’s mission is to foster environments where the potential of young people is fully realized, which she believes will contribute to a more equitable and inclusive future. 

As a true proponent of radical joy and abundance in even the smallest of moments, Shadia can be found thriving in any space where laughter rings out. In her free time Shadia enjoys congregating with loved ones around a good meal, watching movies, traveling, and hunting for funky art to decorate her home.
