Understanding how community-based resources can cultivate joy and wellness.
This landscape assessment is a continual project for AHSHAY. It will aid our understanding of current community-based resources, and strengths and gaps. This includes exploring upstream factors like early learning centers and positive parenting classes. It also includes looking at downstream factors like actual diversion programs for youth.
In our current initial phase, we have set up a robust data collection process. So far, we have collected data on 463 unique King County-based organizations. This includes organizations providing housing and shelter services, criminal legal system services, and mental and behavioral health services. We are also running preliminary analyses on available data and generating summary reports.
