Dominique was born and raised in Seattle Washington. She’s dedicated to uplifting community voice through outreach and relationships by building a bridge between academia and community. Inspired by systems change, finding innovative ways to continue to empower youth voice by ensuring they can contribute their lived experiences, making sure they feel respected and acknowledged. Always putting forth intentional efforts and energy towards promoting continuous opportunities for community engagement. Humbled and honored to service the community in several different spaces. Energized by making new connections and building reciprocal partnerships.

Passionate about special education, in her most recent professional role she was a substitute teacher and a special education para-educator for over nine years. Currently a community outreach specialist, youth mentor, mental health advocate, and a mindfulness facilitator. She’s Inspired and dedicated to making timely and impactful changes serving families. She’s a mother to three beautiful children. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, watching her children play sports, cooking, hiking, and facilitating mindfulness. A lifelong learner who is genuinely excited for this new journey.
